This Privacy Policy explains what information i-am-machine.com (“this site,” “we,” “us”) collects from visitors, why, and how it’s handled. Len Noe operates this site personally; it is not run by a larger organization with a dedicated privacy team, so if you have a question this page doesn’t answer, just ask (contact info below).
Information We Collect
Contact Form
When you use the contact form on this site, we collect the information you submit — typically your name, email address, organization (if provided), and your message. This form is powered by WPForms. Submissions are delivered to us by email and/or stored in the WordPress database associated with this site so we can respond to you. We do not sell or share this information with third parties, and we use it only to respond to your inquiry.
Purchases (Books & Merchandise)
This site uses WooCommerce to process orders, such as the “Buy a Signed Copy” book purchase. When you place an order, we collect order details necessary to fulfill it: your name, shipping/billing address, email address, and a record of what you purchased. Payment is processed by Stripe and/or PayPal, depending on the payment method you choose at checkout. We do not receive or store your full credit card number, CVV, or other raw payment card data — that information goes directly to Stripe or PayPal, both of which are PCI-DSS compliant payment processors, and we only receive confirmation that payment succeeded along with a transaction reference. Stripe’s and PayPal’s own privacy policies govern how they handle your payment details.
Analytics (Google Analytics)
This site uses Google Analytics (GA4, measurement ID G-G5950LJ36S) to understand how visitors use the site — pages viewed, general location (city/country level), device/browser type, and how you arrived here. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally in any report we see. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking generally using Google’s Browser Add-on, or by using a browser/extension that blocks analytics scripts.
Email List (Opt-In)
This site offers (or may offer) a separate email signup for updates, news, and announcements from Len Noe. This is a distinct, opt-in mailing list — submitting the contact form does not automatically add you to it, and vice versa. If you sign up, we collect your email address (and possibly your name) for the sole purpose of sending you the updates you signed up for. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, or by contacting us directly.

Beyond Google Analytics cookies described above, this site may use cookies required for basic functionality — for example, WooCommerce uses cookies to manage your shopping cart and checkout session. These functional cookies are necessary for the site to work correctly and can’t be disabled without breaking checkout.
